Sizable jumps today in both daily case rate (6.25 -> 6.58) and positivity percent (2.53% -> 2.71%). This is an unusually large increase so we don't know yet whether this is an outlier or the start of a trend.

Hospitalizations also increased (213 -> 237), but looking at the context of the past 60 days we're still well below the Sep 1 number (359).

We get screwed because others don't follow the rules... we all pay for their stupidity. Yup..that sounds about right. Let's put us all back into the purple tier...and for another year! That'll serve them right 😠

When will we start seeing the number for those recovered ? Discharged from the hospital? These daily covid reports are right out of the Vietnam war era when they reported nightly death numbers.

I’m confused, does this mean we are back in the red tier?

In a county of 3.5 million, over an eight month period, 1600 dead out of 60,000 positive tests. And 700 of the dead were in nursing homes.

Behold and bow down to the face diaper that will save us all from the scary Covid-19 virus that the CDC admits that it cannot isolate; that has a 99.97% survival rate...we should all run hide and live in FEAR of this virus that has killed less than .00005% of the population...but let's discriminate against anyone who refuses to live in FEAR...

Jason Kraft thanks so much for always sharing!

Help #slowthespread by answering the call for #OCCOVID19 contact tracing. Look for “CA COVID Team” on your caller ID. Learn more at occovid19.ochealthinfo.com/telling-close-contacts ... See moreSee less

My close contacts will be about 40 co-workers on production floor interacting daily, often more than once.

Lots of people will never answer that on their phone. It will most probably be a scammer working out of a call center in India. LOL

All metrics are essentially flat today. Total COVID+ hospitalizations are up by 10 since yesterday, from 203 (157 confirmed and 46 suspected) to 213 (177 confirmed and 36 suspected). COVID+ ICU demand only increased by one.

COVID+ OC hospitalizations over the past 90 days, total (confirmed + suspected) vs. confirmed only:

Come on Orange County let’s do better 🤦🏽‍♂️

I follow the hospitalization numbers. A spike today from recent numbers 😟

Bless those that Died today from the Coronavirus.

If Europe has a massive spike (2x, 3x March numbers), it’s only a matter of time we get it here too.

The numbers is inflated. It’s all lies 🤥🤥🤥🤥💩💩💩. The reason why you doing high is because of the election.

Our test positivity rate hasn't changed much for the past while. That's a good thing

Thank you Jason Kraft
