The County of Orange, California is currently dispensing Moderna vaccines at the #disneyland Super POD site. As individuals receiving vaccine there are instructed, the required 2nd dose must be the same vaccine (e.g. both 1st and 2nd dose should be Moderna vaccine).
If you arrive more than 30 minutes before your scheduled vaccine appointment, you may expect extended wait times before being vaccinated due to the high volume of people being vaccinated.
Individuals with appointments (which are required) are encouraged to arrive no more than 30 minutes before your appointment time.

Can someone please tell me what my parent needs to bring with them to the appointment if they don’t have the app due to having Android ? Is just a printout of the appointment time/date and ID sufficient? (When I got mine-healthcare worker here-I had the app and they scanned a QR code from the app).
Terrible app. I registered both of my parents three days ago, on last Tuesday. I still can’t schedule appointments for them. I know people who registered after me but they got their appointments scheduled. Both of my parents are cancer survivors and my mom has severe asthma. Very disappointed and frustrated.

I got my vaccine yesterday at Disneyland and am unable to make an appointment for my second shot on the Othena website because when I sign it, it just gives me the information on my first vaccine. How can I get an appointment for my second shot?
HOW AND WHEN CAN WE SCHEDULE SECOND DOSE? App says an appt for February 10 when I enter my login but does not allow you to select a time or location. When will we have access for that especially since paramedic says we need to receive it within the 28 day period it is due?
Why is a senior citizen in Tier 1A not able to make an appointment?
App terrible. App says one thing. But website says something else. It says I scheduled something. But we never did. It gives no dates to choose from other than Jan 7th. Of course it never works during business hours as well. So sad

Website gives me this message: Thanks for your interest in the COVID-19 vaccine. Othena is dedicated to assisting you in protecting your health. Currently, we are in State-mandated Phase 1A vaccination for frontline and health care workers only. Vaccine doses are currently extremely limited by the supply. We realize that everyone who is interested deserves a vaccine as soon as it’s available for them, and Othena will notify you as soon as you become eligible.
When I go to the app it tells me appointment N/A. I have tried reschedule and nothing pops up.
Anyone else having this issue?
I hope the county systems increase appointments soon. In the meantime, I encourage all those who have Kaiser to attempt to schedule through them. They are scheduling for members who fall into tier one workforce.

Why don’t you publish something that explains the process. I went onto the system through the app. It said I have an appointment scheduled but with no location or date. Is there something I’m missing?
It's unfortunate the Othena App is completely useless to schedule an appointment. The website has issues too. The responses I have received so far from CuraPatient have been vague, like "we will be making more appointments available in the near future." Lol. Many of us wasted a lot of time last night online due to false or inaccurate information reported here. It was announced there would be appointments available after 6pm but nothing happened until 7am when appointments for Saturday vanished in about 6 minutes. How can we know when the next round of appointments will become available?
How are the second appointments scheduled? I'm trying to get them confirmed for my parents, and the app shows some obscure date and time in the middle of the night and it cannot be rescheduled. 😫 It took ages to get their initial appointments... I really feel bad for the elderly/at-risk population trying to secure a vaccine when they're not on Facebook to see updates or tips, don't understand how to use aps, or are ESL. 😔 Clearer sign up procedures and instructions on what to expect upon arrival to the Super PODS need to happen ASAP.
The Othena app is an embarrassment...when you change a date or number of people you’re trying to create an appointment FOR , the app seems to reset to the current date and 1 person...clicking the “Update” button does nothing...it’s such a simple form and the app behind it does not work...people are literally dying because they cant get a vaccine...THIS APP NEEDS TO BE FIXED NOW!
Going to wait another 10 days before I even try to register. Hopefully more of the glitches will be resolved by them. Does anyone know how far out they are scheduling appointments? I’m trying to get my first dose around a certain date.
My husband and I are in the priority group, I’m 70 and he’s 75. After trying for four days I finally got him registered. But no opportunity to schedule an appointment for either of us. It’s very frustrating especially when I hear that younger people are getting vaccinated ahead of us.
Is anyone having trouble even logging in? I was able to “register” my mom for an account with Othena but have never been able to log into the app or the website since. It always just says “loading”. So frustrating!

Othena should have assigned both vaccination dates with one sign up. Would’ve been so much easier and less stressful.
Still is a challenge. Shows I have an appt but says N/A. So frustrating. Trying to get my 83 year old MIL vaccinated.
Super site said it would be open at 5:00am only to have it Really open at 8:00am

So in reading these comments, it seems like OC has turned this into some kind of a lottery. So whoever is fastest or luckiest or earliest on the Othena joke of an app gets vaccinated and everyone else gets nothing and just keeps on trying and trying to get vaccinated? Are we trying to save lives and get vaccinated or is this some kind of amateur hour trying to treat us residents like idiots? Are you kidding? How can this be allowed to happen?

Thousands of #OC residents can't get a straight answer from a shoddy new company based in Irvine. No areas to register or to enter existing conditions. No explanations as how the OCBOS and OCHealth even selected this new company (Cura Patient-Othena) versus tried and true logistical chain companies. We need leading edge, not bleeding edge!
The Othena website worked well for me. I registered using my laptop on Wednesday with no issues, message was nothing available. I checked back later, nothing was available. I checked the next morning and have an appointment on Saturday at 1:30, the screen shot I have has the date, time, location and an appointment ID and tells me to bring a valid photo ID.
Do you have to use the ap or can you just check on your computer? All I see when I log in is

SSDD: declining case rate and positivity percentage, with significant upward revisions in previous days, 1/12 was revised from 91.1 to 92.8.
This chart illustrates how today's update of confirmed cases changed the case rates for the past 30 days. Note that we are seeing significant increases all the way back to the 12/23 case rate, which uses confirmed cases between 12/10 and 12/16.
